Special conditions and environments are required for welding NiTinol materials. Thanks to laser welding and special inert gas environment, NiTinol material can be welded without any foreign atoms. Thus, NiTinol materials can be joined without losing their properties.

Laser Welding is the most widely used method for joining Nickel-Titanium alloys. The most important reason for this is that there is no contamination in the source area.

Use in Thin Parts

The use of laser welding is required in thin-walled and sensitive areas. With Pulsed Wave and Continuous Wave types, wavelengths and frequencies can be adjusted. In this way, it performs the joining process without damaging the material.

Filling Material

​Filling material is added to the melt pool to fill the voids and add additional strength as needed. While filling material is often not needed, a wide variety of filling materials can be used when used. By changing the metallurgy of the filler material, the behavior of the molten zone can be controlled.
